Delrin acetyl resin compound. Excellent resistance to corrosion of any kind, plus the fact that the color is cast in, not coated on means that it hides scratches well. Self lubricating to a degree. It is unaffected by water exposure, and tough enough that it can be tapped for set screws. These fittings are injection molded under high pressure to give excellent tolerances in a lightweight, economical product designed for durability and performance.
